JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Källtorpskolan is a secondary school for grades 7-9 with about 400 students and a municipal resource group located in Kallhäll. Since HT 2024, we also have an adapted secondary school for grades 7-9. The adapted school will gradually expand in the coming school year to eventually accommodate 40 students.

At Källtorpskolan, you will work with proactive, responsible, and collaborative colleagues, and there is engaged leadership at all levels, characterized by high expectations and great trust. Källtorpskolan is organized according to the entire mission of the compulsory school according to the curriculum's chapters one, two, and three and systematically works with knowledge, value foundation, and social missions according to LGR 22.

You will work in an organization that means you will belong to a work team as well as a subject team that consists of collegial learning around the development of teaching, value foundation work, and students' social competencies.

As a Ma/NO/TK teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subjects based on the established curriculum, and you will plan in collaboration with the other Ma/NO/TK teachers at the school to create equity. The position includes being a mentor to a class together with a colleague, where you are responsible for implementing value foundation and social work. There is also an opportunity to connect part of the position to a pedagogical IT assignment at the school, where you will also participate in municipal meetings regarding pedagogical IT development.

You are responsible for assessing students' overall learning in teaching, value foundation work, and social competencies, as well as documenting the same. It is important that you follow up on students' results, analyze them, and take action to improve the results. Furthermore, you, together with other staff, will drive an operation that helps children become secure, creative, and curious.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have a Swedish teaching license and teaching qualifications to teach students in Ma/NO/TK at the secondary level. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a teacher in the relevant grades and subjects, preferably from a multicultural school.

You are engaged and flexible and can easily adapt to different situations. You can take initiative, are creative, and have clear leadership in the classroom. You can work independently but are also collaborative, both with children, parents, and colleagues. It is important that you are attentive and have high social competence. You take responsibility for your part while seeing the whole.

We have projectors in all classrooms and use digital tools in our operations, so we would like you to have IT competence.

You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and have the ability to communicate in a clear and positive manner and to build trust and good relationships, both internally and externally. You have leadership skills with pedagogical insight and the ability to motivate students.
