About Us

Our resource school offers a specialized and safe learning environment for about 50 students in grades 1–9 with diagnoses within NPF, and all students are in need of special support. Our mission is to consistently place the student at the center by offering an individualized schooling with the highest possible goal fulfillment.

You will join a close-knit and competent team of about 20 dedicated employees where collaboration is central. We actively work with co-planning and co-assessment to ensure a coherent thread in the students' development and maintain high quality. At the same time, you will have ample room for creative freedom in designing your teaching, always within the framework of laws and governing documents. In your immediate team, you will work in small student groups together with teaching assistants and special educational staff. This ensures that your expertise and contribution truly reach each student.

About the Position

The position is a temporary assignment at our middle school and involves a central responsibility for teaching mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7–9. All work is based on the perspective of the student at the center, where you continuously adapt the didactics based on each student's need for support and individual development plan. Your tasks include active mentorship, collaboration with the work team regarding co-planning and co-assessment, as well as following up on students' goal fulfillment.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified and licensed teacher in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7–9.
• Has documented experience working with students in need of special support.
• Has documented experience working with both clear pedagogical approaches and low-affect responses (LAB).
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working in a resource school or other specialized school form.
• Experience working with students with language disorders.
• Additional education or experience in special education.
• Experience collaborating with students' guardians in complex student matters.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.

As a person, you are calm, patient, and distinctly structured. You have a strong ability to create a safe learning environment and build trusting relationships with students. Your flexibility allows you to quickly adapt to the student's needs.
