Your Responsibilities

As a payroll consultant, you will have a broad and varied assignment within the entire payroll area. You will work with everything from employment management, scheduling, and travel expenses to corrections, benefits, and various types of leave and certificates. The role involves reviewing and processing payroll data, producing payroll lists, and ensuring that taxes and employer contributions are reported correctly. You will be an important support for employees, managers, and administrators, providing service via both phone and case management systems. A central part of the assignment is to interpret municipal collective agreements and ensure that payroll processing is conducted according to applicable regulations. The assignment is temporary and will only take place during January 2026 with a part-time scope of about 50-60%, making it particularly suitable for those who have another main occupation but want to contribute for a shorter period.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in payroll and at least three years of experience in qualified payroll work. You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and work independently, structured, and meticulously. To succeed in the role, prior experience with the payroll system Heroma is required. You thrive in a service role, find it easy to collaborate, and are confident in handling complex issues. It is advantageous if you have worked in municipal operations, and we see it as a significant plus if you have experience with the case management system Artvise.
