Unit for Court and Prosecutor Affairs, Ministry of Justice

The Unit for Court and Prosecutor Affairs is responsible for legislation, including central procedural law, for several authorities that are central to a legally secure society, including the Swedish Courts Authority, the Swedish Prosecution Authority, the Economic Crime Authority, and the Chancellor of Justice, as well as for international matters and negotiations within the unit's area of responsibility. We can offer you an independent role with varied tasks that contribute to societal development.

The tasks are varied and include, among other things, preparing materials for the political leadership, processing cases, and driving processes within the unit's areas of responsibility. The work sometimes requires quickly prepared materials and positions on current issues, so you should enjoy working under conditions where you are prepared for the unexpected. Your work is characterized by close dialogue and collaboration both within the unit and with other units within the ministry and the Government Offices, as well as with other authorities.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with an academic education that the employer deems relevant. We want you to have completed an internship at the Government Offices as part of your higher education during the past year (Spring and Autumn 2025). You have knowledge of the Ministry of Justice's issues, as well as knowledge of the current unit's matters. You have excellent skills in both Swedish and English. You also have good knowledge of the Office suite.
