Assignment

Within Health and Care, Social Services constitutes its own unit, where 18 employees work on the authority side. As a social worker for adults, you will be part of a work group with another colleague. The role of the social worker for adults is to investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on cases related to addiction and harmful use, domestic violence, and social housing contracts according to SoL and LVM. You will collaborate closely with other actors around the individual, such as outpatient care, institutions, healthcare, and other partners. The assignment also includes conducting environmental monitoring and participating in the development work of the operation.

Our primary focus is to conduct good social work. For us within adults, this means carrying out investigation processes that should be beneficial for the individual's change work. When there is a need for interventions, support and treatment within our own outpatient care are offered as far as possible.

Competence

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience as a social worker with adults and LVM. Training in FREDA, ASI, or Domestic Violence is an asset. A valid driver's license is a requirement for the position.

You are interested in actively developing the methods and practices of the operation to provide applicants with the best possible service. You can easily adapt your working methods to changing conditions and act to promote your own development and continued learning. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are keen to create good relationships, as well as being humble and understanding of other people's life situations. You also have the ability to work independently in your case management and have a sense of responsibility for the authority work you perform.

Working hours/duration

Permanent full-time employment.
