Arwidius väg 62 A is an LSS group home located in a calm and pleasant area close to nature, walking paths, and good transportation links. Here we offer a safe and individually adapted accommodation for adults within person group 1. Each resident has their own apartment and access to shared, cozy spaces. Staff are present around the clock and work with structure, participation, and a calm, respectful approach. Our goal is to strengthen each individual's independence, create a meaningful everyday life, and contribute to a high quality of life.

We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our dedicated team – a group where collaboration, openness, and drive come naturally. Together we create safety, structure, and days that truly make a difference for the individuals we support.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience in care and support work.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
• B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Worked with complex support needs.

Employment type: Hourly employment, permanent position  Working hours: up to 80% Working time: Day, evening, and weekend work  Start date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
