We are looking for a senior Business Operations Architect for a major transformation initiative within a comprehensive Market Operations Services function. The assignment involves translating strategic hypotheses into practical, scalable solutions by developing a target operating model, streamlining workflows, and establishing AI-driven capabilities in operational processes. You will work closely with management and operational teams in a complex change environment where regulatory requirements and efficiency go hand in hand.

Your Responsibilities

Develop the target operating model with future team structures and organizational clustering.

Identify consolidation opportunities and eliminate non-value-adding work.

Conduct benchmarking against peer institutions and validate design choices according to best practices.

Map current processes and design future workflows and process architecture.

Ensure efficient, scalable, and regulatory-compliant processes.

Apply Lean principles to optimize flows in resource-constrained environments.

Identify tasks suitable for AI agents, RPA, and automation.

Design models for human-AI collaboration, governance, and performance metrics.

Develop implementation plans, milestones, deliverables, and quick wins.

Prototype and iterate solutions using lightweight tools.

Manage dependencies and risks in a complex transformation landscape.

Lead workshops and ensure alignment between management and operational teams.

Produce clear documentation and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.

Expected Deliverables

Vision for the operating model including team design and organizational structure.

Benchmark materials and recommendations based on peer comparisons.

Current and future process maps and process architecture.

Lean improvement proposals and prioritized action backlog.

AI/automation use cases including human-AI work model, governance, and KPIs.

Implementation plan with milestones, quick wins, risk, and dependency management.

Workshop materials and decision support for governance and anchoring.

Your Profile

Must-Haves:

Several years of experience in organizational design and large-scale transformation.

Deep understanding of financial institution operations (e.g., clearing, settlement, risk, compliance).

Documented experience in peer benchmarking and application of industry best practices.

Strong skills in process modeling and process architecture.

Experience with AI agents, RPA, and workflow automation.

Ability to lead complex change and create consensus among multiple stakeholders.

Preferred:

Experience with governance models and KPIs for AI-supported processes.

Familiarity with rapid prototyping and iterative solution development.

Background in transformation in international or highly regulated environments.

Thrives in high uncertainty with shifting priorities.
