Data & Analytics Engineering is divided into established subgroups focusing on backend, frontend, and data management within data engineering. In the role of Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for one of the subgroups and will have a central position in further developing both our data specialists and our data engineering capabilities.

You will lead a team of Data Engineers and Data Quality Engineers and drive initiatives that strengthen the organization's data platform, improve data usage, and ensure that data continues to be a strategic asset.

Your responsibilities

Lead and develop one of the teams within Data & Analytics Engineering with personnel responsibility and a clear focus on the team's delivery and competence development.

Own and drive data solutions, migrations, and projects within the data management area, including establishing new solutions on cloud-based data platforms.

Ensure effective and value-creating use of data in the organization's data assets.

Shared product ownership for planning, prioritization, and execution of data-related initiatives and roadmap work.

Have overall technical responsibility for your area's data solutions and guide both the team and relevant stakeholders.

Contribute with strong technical leadership in data engineering, drive best practices in development, migration, and deployment, and lead technical implementations and rollouts.

Your profile

Academic degree at the bachelor's or master's level in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Documented strong leadership and ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams of data specialists.

Experience in technical leadership within data engineering, including leading deployment and driving adoption of modern working methods.

Deep expertise in data engineering and analytics: data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data visualization.

Experience leading data-related projects/products with roadmap planning, execution, and delivery responsibility.

Desirable

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, DBT, Python, or similar technologies.
