Your Responsibilities

Are you a meticulous and dedicated accounting economist looking to advance your career? We are currently seeking someone who wants to become an important part of our client's finance department in Stockholm. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business, develop your skills, and contribute your expertise in an exciting and dynamic environment.

In the role of accounting economist, you will work with ongoing accounting and bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as cash and bank reconciliations. You will also prepare reports, analyze results, and participate in the work with year-end closing, period closing, and budget follow-up. Your daily tasks may also include reconciliations, troubleshooting, and various types of controls, making the role both varied and developmental.

Your Profile

We believe you have several years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably combined with a post-secondary education in finance or equivalent knowledge. You have a good understanding of financial relationships and are driven by analyzing, finding improvements, and creating structure.

You are proficient in the Office suite and preferably have experience with some accounting software. To succeed in this role, you are structured, self-driven, and have an eye for detail. You enjoy administrative work and leave nothing to chance. At the same time, you have a service-oriented attitude and contribute energy and engagement to the team. Additionally, experience with governmental accounting is a strong merit.
