District Nurse/Nurse at Sätra Din Hälsocentral

Sätra Din Hälsocentral currently has around 30 employees and provides primary care in a multicultural area. We have a medical clinic, district nurse clinic, child health center at the family center, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, home visits, and specialist clinics for diabetes, hypertension, and leg ulcers. Our team is highly engaged and participates in the development of the organization in all its aspects. We value good collaboration among all professional categories and a positive atmosphere where a strong sense of community permeates the workplace.

The organization will become part of Region Gävleborg Din Hälsocentral AB, the company for publicly run health and child care centers in Gävleborg. The transition will take place on February 1, 2026. Together, we want to develop and shape primary care and create a good working environment for managers and employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse/nurse with us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center. Your competence is a vital prerequisite for our shared mission to support, treat, and guide people towards a healthier life.

As a district nurse/nurse with us, you will among other things:

• work with telephone advice
• perform both planned and acute outpatient work
• work with preventive health care
• make home visits and care planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is easy to collaborate with others while also having the ability to structure and take significant personal responsibility for your tasks. You have our patients' best interests in focus and are skilled at communicating with your surroundings, both patients and colleagues. You adapt easily to changing situations and see the importance of contributing to a good cohesion in the workplace.

In the role of district nurse/nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse
• have the authority to work within Swedish healthcare
• hold a valid B driver's license.

If you are a trained district nurse, have completed diabetes training or asthma/COPD training, it is an advantage for the position. Previous experience in primary care and/or asthma/COPD clinics is also advantageous.
