WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

A significant part of your portfolio will be to guide the department's work on analysis and policy related to the functioning of important markets. The aim is to identify risks to the stability and efficiency of the financial system and work to prevent these risks. This also includes improving our collection of market information, acting as a sounding board, and supporting colleagues in various projects and tasks. You will have broad contact areas and collaborations within the Riksbank, often directly with decision-makers, but also with other authorities, market actors, and internationally.

YOUR TEAM

The unit for financial linkages is one of four units in the financial stability department and consists of just over ten employees. The unit's mission includes analyzing linkages in the financial system, focusing on non-banks and the functioning of important financial markets. The unit is also responsible within the framework of the Riksbank's role as a liquidity provider in crises and has a broad international role, including within the framework of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB).

MORE ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with extensive experience, at least 10 years, of working in or with the financial sector and who has a bachelor's degree or higher in economics, financial economics, or another equivalent education from a university or college. You have long experience working with the analysis of financial actors, such as insurance companies and funds, and various types of financial instruments. Experience from the private sector is an advantage.

Regarding your personality, we place great emphasis on your strong analytical skills, being a genuine team player, having high initiative, and good judgment. You are a stable and mature person who works in a structured manner, is skilled at presenting, and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Start date: As soon as possible/spring 2026
Employment type: Permanent position, probationary employment may apply
Location: Headquarters at Brunkebergstorg and Klara in central Stockholm
Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Remote work possibility: 1 or 2 days a week

The position may be classified in a security class and a security clearance including background checks, security interviews, and special personal investigations will be conducted for the final candidate. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
