Rödsleskolan is a F-9 school located next to the picturesque Döderhultsdalen about 4 km from central Oskarshamn. Our school has around 730 students and an associated adapted primary school (grades 1-9) consisting of about 20 students. The entire area works based on the vision “A good life,” and for us, every day is an important day. Our students and employees should feel good in our operations, and we place great focus on creating valuable relationships with good results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission with us is to work together with regular staff to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet and teach. Great emphasis is placed on relationships, flexibility, and a positive attitude. In the role of substitute, you are tasked with providing students with a safe and stimulating environment and supporting regular staff in their daily work. You will work in different units and be part of various teams. It is a varied, fun, and exciting assignment where you get the opportunity to work with experienced educators. Together, you will support the children in their development and conduct educational work according to the curricula.

Job Tasks:

• Teaching in whole classes and/or smaller groups
• Resource in student groups
• Hosting, e.g., during breaks

The substitute positions can range from a few hours up to full-time. Sometimes it requires stepping in at short notice.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be at least 18 years old. Experience is desirable. We prefer that you have education and/or work experience in schools. You work from a holistic perspective on the student, respecting their individual needs.
