Rinmangymnasiet is a successful school with good academic results for approximately 1200 students and is located in central Eskilstuna. The school offers both science and health care programs and is focused on natural sciences, technology, care, and restaurant management. The school has national programs in Industrial Technology, Electrical and Energy, Natural Sciences, Restaurant and Food, Technology, and Health and Social Care. We have a developed collaboration with municipal adult education where some courses are held at our school. We are also responsible for the Adapted Upper Secondary School. Currently, we have three EU-funded development projects at the school.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school administrator, you will provide close support to school leaders in student administration and information and authority administration. You will have a central and important role at the school's office and be the face of the school, welcoming visitors daily and assisting and guiding students, educators, parents, and authority representatives. Your area of responsibility mainly involves the administration of the school's students, including study planning, grading, and examination management. Together with colleagues, you will also staff the school's reception with practical service questions for the school's students.

You will work in a team with other colleagues, each with their area of responsibility, but you will help each other based on a shared responsibility for the school's administration. Community and cohesion are important guiding principles in our operations, and we care about helping each other when needed. The administration works closely with the school's management and is led by an administrative manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in administrative work within the later school years, upper secondary school, or adult education. You have good computer skills and command the Swedish language well, both spoken and written, as the tasks require high communicative ability.

It is advantageous if you have a university degree and experience working in administrative school systems. Good experience with Word and Excel is also seen as a plus.

The Department of Education and Child Care organizes 53 preschools, 27 primary schools, and one upper secondary school with three units, plus several shared units such as the adapted upper secondary school and services for children and youth with disabilities.
