Your Everyday Life - A Key Role Where Your Contribution Makes a Difference Every Day

The position is located at the project support unit. The unit's mission is to support project managers throughout the construction process. The support includes, among other things, calculations, technical supply systems (HVAC and electrical), fire and environmental issues, production and contracting issues. The unit also assists other parts of the authority in the work with design guidelines, manuals, and procurement support.

Job Responsibilities

As a Specialist Project Support focusing on planning and follow-up, you have a central and supportive role within the unit. You work closely with both the project support unit's employees and project managers across the department.

Your main job responsibilities include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and following up on planning and follow-up meetings
  • Responsible for overall administration of various kinds
  • Participating in and administering the planning and booking of the project support unit's assignments
  • Administering the unit's functional mailboxes
  • Working in various support systems for project documentation and finance
  • Following up on budgets and preparing reports to support the unit manager
  • Performing certain record-keeping

Good collaboration and ongoing contact with project managers are an important part of the role.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Completed upper secondary education or equivalent competence assessed as equivalent
  • Current experience of administrative work in a larger organization
  • Experience in planning and follow-up
  • Very good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish
  • Driver's license B

Desirable

  • Post-secondary education with an administrative focus
  • Building technical education
  • Experience of working within a government agency
  • Experience of the activities of the Fortifications Agency
  • Experience in financial follow-up

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a military position. The location is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
