Accountant to the Finance Unit in Trosa Municipality

The Finance Unit is organized centrally and supports all municipal operations and municipal companies. You will sit with us colleagues in central Trosa, close to many of our other central functions. You will become part of a team of ten employees with close collaboration and great trust in each other's competencies. In the team, there is a controller group and an accounting group working together with the finance manager. WHAT DOES YOUR ASSIGNMENT ENTAIL?

You are an accountant but will work part of your position to manage and help develop our work in the Raindance financial system.

The Finance Unit works together on planning for the municipality's and companies' accounting and closing work. You will have varied tasks where you switch between the big picture and details. An important task is to follow developments in the accounting field to ensure that overarching rules and guidelines are followed. You will work closely with our operations and support in accounting issues, making accounting understandable for non-economists.

System management includes, among other things, setting up new code parts, permissions, integrations, support cases, contact with the supplier, upgrades, and development. As support, there are colleagues in the finance unit who have similar responsibilities for different modules in Raindance. Together, you will conduct training for users in the operations.

Your tasks include improving financial processes using the financial system. You are responsible for ensuring that system routines are documented and updated.

You will also be involved in the work with internal control and, if necessary, assist with other tasks occurring in the unit.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• a university degree in finance or other experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• experience working as an accountant
• experience and good knowledge of financial systems

Meritorious is:

• experience in the municipal or public sector
• experience with Raindance
• experience in system management

You love numbers and have a good ability to create understanding of financial relationships with a very good communication and collaboration ability. We highly value your personal qualities.
