Job Responsibilities

In the role of administrator, you will primarily collaborate and provide administrative support to colleagues in both negotiation and tenant influence areas. You will work with planning, registration, mailings, and some financial support. In this role, you will also provide service and support to our elected representatives and members. You will have a lot of contact with members via visits, phone, and email.

We are looking for someone with a sense of service and great commitment!

To fit as an administrator with us, you enjoy meeting new people and have good experience in administrative work, as well as basic knowledge of economics. You work independently but also together in a group to make the administrative work function. Service is a large part of your daily work, both internally and externally.

We also see that you are meticulous, organized, and flexible. For everyone working at the Tenants' Association, it is essential that you share our values and have a commitment to the issues we advocate. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school education is required, and some form of post-secondary education is desirable
• At least five years of work experience
• Experience from non-profit organizations
• Financial knowledge is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period. Some evening and weekend work may occur. The workplace is located at Rademachergatan 1 in Eskilstuna.

The Tenants' Association is divided into nine regions across the country. The work and needs may vary depending on the geographical area. All regions coordinate the efforts needed for their respective districts, and all expertise is gathered in the form of lawyers, negotiators, and business developers. As an organization, we are passionate about ensuring that everyone has the right to good housing at a reasonable cost.

Region Mitt consists of 52 municipalities in four counties: Örebro, Värmland, Sörmland, and Dalarna. In the region, we have about 64,000 members, around 1,200 elected representatives, and about 100 employees. The region coordinates the internal resources needed to create a housing environment with security, influence, and community for tenants.
