Project Assistant Needed for Client in Västerås

The position is a consulting assignment starting in mid-December. As a project assistant, you will host client visits and tests in our large testing room/lab, where we conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) on large motors and generators.

You will be an important link between our project managers and our clients – both Swedish and international. The work involves hosting physical client visits that usually last between 2–4 days. Sometimes the tests are conducted digitally, and you will be responsible for hosting and coordinating our remote meetings.

In addition to the operational hosting role, you will support the project department with administrative tasks such as document management, archiving, handling certificates from suppliers, and preparing final documentation for clients.

The position involves varying working hours with both day and evening shifts. The base working time is 40 hours a week with regular hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, but during test runs, evening work may occur, usually ending around 10:45 PM. During these times, the working hours will shift so that you start later in the day. Weekend work may occur but is rare.

Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• Hosting visitors during FAT – both Swedish and international clients
• Responsible for digital FAT meetings during remote tests
• Ensuring that visitors receive a professional and service-oriented reception
• Administrative tasks related to project documentation
• Archiving and handling documents and certificates in various systems
• Printing and compiling final documentation for clients
• Planning and structuring your own and shared tasks together with project managers and the team

You will move between production and the office, giving you a good insight into the entire production chain – from design and assembly to testing and delivery. This is a developing role for you who are curious about technology, project management, and international customer contact.
