Business Economist for the Healthcare and Social Services Unit

We are currently seeking a business economist for our financial unit within healthcare and social services. The unit consists of five employees: one financial administrator, one business economist, and three financial assistants. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business economist with us, you will work closely with responsible managers and be part of the management teams of the operations. You will have a consultative role where you support, challenge, and inspire managers to perform their part of the administration's mission as efficiently as possible. At the same time, you will work independently with budgeting, performance monitoring, forecasting, as well as interim and annual financial statements. The role also includes producing analyses and presenting materials to support various decision-making processes, as well as further developing or creating new working methods within the financial area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree from a university or college in economics, or equivalent work experience that the employer assesses as comparable. It is advantageous if you have worked as an economist or business economist in public administration. You have a good ability to analyze and summarize data and information, and then present it clearly and pedagogically to managers. You have good knowledge of Office 365 and experience working in a financial system. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks. You see the connection between finance, results, operations, and goal fulfillment, and you contribute with your pedagogical skills to create a good understanding of financial terms. You have a consultative approach and good collaboration skills that make it easy to build good relationships. Delivering good service and having a pleasant demeanor is a given for you, and we believe you are someone who sees what needs to be done and takes the initiative to get it done.
