IES Länna is a school for grades 2-9 with approximately 630 students and 70 staff members. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum. The school is located in Skogås, just outside Stockholm, a short walk from beautiful Drevviken and Skogås train station.

We are looking for a home economics teacher for grades 4-9, starting in August 2024.

You have a teaching license and experience teaching home economics at the secondary level. You are passionate about your subject and driven to challenge all students, regardless of background, to do their very best. You have the tools to create a positive learning environment in the classroom, and your clear leadership and teaching style contribute to good goal fulfillment. You are able to differentiate your teaching to reach students in need of adjustments and support, in collaboration with our student health team and special educators. Ongoing feedback to students and guardians regarding progress and areas for development is a given, and you allow it to take space in your teaching.

As a teacher, you are flexible and easy to collaborate with. We wish for you to see the whole picture of the student's learning and value good relationships with both your students and colleagues. Mentorship will be part of the responsibilities, and teaching will be conducted in Swedish.
