The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the preschool committee and the primary school committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, after-school care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Vistaskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 830 students. Here, a dedicated staff works to provide our students with the best possible conditions for an inspiring and educational school experience. The school has a high degree of digitalization and uses Chromebooks and Google Classroom in grades 4-9 in combination with textbooks and other teaching materials. About the Position

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 7-9 in mathematics and natural sciences at Vistaskolan.

Being a teacher and professional educator in Huddinge municipality means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their conditions. You create good relationships, both with students and guardians, built on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning. Based on students' results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate in order to develop the teaching. You provide forward-looking feedback to students aimed at development and support students in need of special assistance. We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's educational work.

As a teacher in Mathematics/Natural Sciences for grades 7-9 at Vistaskolan, you will be part of a team responsible for mentorship, teaching, and learning together with colleagues in team 8. The team is a close-knit group. In addition to conference time and team meetings, the team has scheduled planning time every week.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and teaching qualifications in mathematics and natural sciences for grades 7-9. You are well acquainted with LGR22 and have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish. You are flexible and have good collaborative skills, easily building good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, the team, the school's student health team, and school management.

In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a working environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, strong subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to each individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to achieve the knowledge outlined in LGR22. You view documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work.

You have a strong ability for analysis and reflection and continuously develop your teaching. You see yourself as an essential part of creating good conditions for students' learning.
