Welcome to us

Preschool area 4 consists of 12 preschools at different addresses in Bromma.

The preschool area is led by a principal, an administrative manager, and four deputy principals, which enables close leadership. There are also two special educators for support.

Our preschools are inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, which is based on a strong belief in human potential, a deep respect for the child, and a conviction that all children are born intelligent, with a strong inherent drive to explore the world.

At the preschools, this means that we use a project-oriented approach where children's interests and questions influence the exploratory work and provide direction. We organize ourselves so that children have the opportunity to be in smaller groups, allowing everyone to have their voice heard in various ways, listen to others' theories and thoughts, inspire each other, and learn together.

To be able to follow, understand, and challenge the processes children are involved in, we work with pedagogical documentation.

Your skills and experience

You have a preschool teacher license and at least 2 years of experience in the profession. You have knowledge and an idea of how you, together with your colleagues, will realize the goals and values of the curriculum. Your focus on children is clear and reflected in your everyday approach. You also have knowledge of how to make children's learning processes visible and further develop them with the help of pedagogical documentation. You have a strong drive to keep the development of the educational environment alive. You have good social skills and find it easy to collaborate with others.

The employment is temporary with the possibility of extension. The City of Stockholm works with competency-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competencies and thus counteracting discrimination.
