About You

Are you a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher looking for a developing role in a beautiful and stimulating environment? Campus Manilla is now seeking a certified teacher in chemistry and biology for grades 7-9. The position is a full-time temporary role starting April 22, 2025, and will last for the entire academic year 25/26.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing students in the best possible way for the future. You combine strong subject knowledge with relational leadership in the classroom. Through varied teaching methods, you create engagement for learning. You have the ability to clearly communicate goals and expectations and provide feedback that advances student learning. As a person, you have the ability to build good relationships and promote the holistic development of students.

You are unpretentious and actively drive collaboration with colleagues to develop teaching and the organization forward.

Your Responsibilities

You will teach chemistry and biology in grades 7-9. You will have overall responsibility for planning, conducting lessons, and evaluating student learning. The role includes shared responsibility for the chemistry and biology department, including the purchase and management of chemicals. You will be part of a team and responsible for collaborating with your colleagues regarding student learning and developing the organization.

Campus Manilla is operated by the politically and religiously independent foundation Carpe Scientia. The school operates entirely without profit motives and aims to develop into Sweden's best school. In our beautiful premises on Djurgården, we have both primary and secondary schools. Campus Manilla has approximately 110 employees and around 800 students from preschool class to the third year of high school.
