Södermalmsskolan is a municipal primary school and adapted primary school from preschool class up to grade 9, near Mariatorget in Södermalm.

Job Responsibilities

We work in age-homogeneous teams with integrated leisure centers. You collaborate with leisure teachers and teachers in your team and with other staff at the school. There are about 80 students in each grade.

This school year, you will work in preschool class and together with other colleagues in the team, you will plan and develop the activities.

Your main area of responsibility is the leisure center and, in collaboration with the team, create a structured and good educational environment during school hours and leisure time. We work to ensure that learning is designed in accessible learning environments so that each student is given the opportunity to develop as far as possible. We work systematically to ensure that all students have the opportunity to develop their various abilities. Embedded during the school day are occasions (half classes) where the leisure teacher is responsible for leisure pedagogical teaching based on the central content of the curriculum. With us, you have the opportunity to participate in, among other things, safety groups, playground groups, or other areas of responsibility where you, together with colleagues, contribute to making our students' days as valuable and safe as possible.

We conduct student-led development talks where teachers and leisure teachers jointly carry out these based on a common foundation.

Qualifications

You should:

• have a teaching license for leisure centers
• be well acquainted with the purpose and content of leisure centers, chapter four of Lgr22.
• have at least a couple of years of experience working in schools – leisure centers as a licensed teacher in leisure centers
• always have students in focus
• be able to collaborate in a team, be flexible and responsible
• be used to leading large and small groups of students
• find development enriching and want to be involved in further developing the leisure center at Södermalmsskolan.
