Substitute Vocational Teachers Wanted at JENSEN Adult Education in Stockholm

We are now looking for substitute vocational teachers at JENSEN Adult Education in Stockholm in the fields of network technology and programming. You decide when and how much you want to work and gain valuable work experience!

JENSEN Adult Education is for those who want to develop in their professional role and contribute to our students' success. In your role as a teacher at JENSEN Adult Education, you will have the opportunity to work with engaged colleagues and present managers to develop and apply the educational opportunities for adults. You have great freedom to design your teaching in a way that challenges and develops your course participants.

Responsibilities and Duties

• We are looking for someone who can step in at short notice, is flexible with hours, and can work as a classroom teacher.
• If you are a qualified teacher, there is an opportunity to take full responsibility for teaching our students in the classroom within your subject combination.
• Motivate and coach each student to achieve good study results and positive knowledge development according to national guidelines.
• Have a good ability to manage groups with significant differences in prior knowledge and individualize the course layout for each participant.
• Manage the administration of a course according to established routines (e.g., grading, feedback to students, introductions, classroom tests, etc.).
• Actively contribute to the overall development of the business area/unit and take responsibility for achieving the organization's goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is either studying at university or looking for a part-time job. We are particularly looking for someone who is competent in programming, network technology, and has at least one year of professional experience in teaching.

You have experience working with students of varying levels of prior knowledge and the ability to help each individual achieve set goals. You can adapt your communication to each individual and have experience conducting courses at different paces.

You have a strong commitment and drive beyond the ordinary. You teach in an inspiring way and engage with course participants and their goals, adopting a coaching approach. As a person, you are creative and open to new ideas and perspectives. You are attentive and have a high sense of responsibility, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

You are confident, attentive, and clear in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. As a teacher at JENSEN Adult Education, you need to be an initiative-taking, pedagogical, and communicative person. You have the ability and desire to be the leader in the classroom.

Employment Type

The position is a part-time/full-time hourly employment starting by agreement.
