Gustavsbergs gymnasium is a municipal high school with approximately 150 students located in Gustavsberg harbor.

Our programs include the social sciences program, the child and leisure program, and introductory programs. In the autumn of 2025, we will also start two special educational profiles. At Gustavsbergs gymnasium, we have high ambitions. We work to be a safe and creative school. The goal is to provide our students with development through knowledge, insight, and study peace. Here, innovation and new thinking are appreciated, and we take every student's education very seriously.

In the role of special educator/special teacher at Gustavsbergs gymnasium, you are the hub of the school's student health team and the overall student health work. You plan and lead the student health meeting each week and establish and follow up on students' action programs. You work closely with our existing special educator and the rest of the student health team, as well as teachers and school management. Your duties also include supporting students and mentoring colleagues, as well as applying for additional funding. Before the autumn term of 2025, we will have two operations with a special educational focus – one for our national programs and one for the introductory program. The special educational profile for the introductory programs is completely new and will be built from the ground up during the current term. You will collaborate with school management in the work of getting everything from furnishings, furniture, materials, and routines in place in the new operation during the spring.

We are looking for someone who is an educated special educator or special teacher with knowledge of and experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities. It is an advantage if you have subject knowledge in mathematics. For you to thrive with us, we think you are curious and self-driven with a good ability to create positive relationships with both young people and colleagues. You are good at prioritizing your tasks and see an advantage in organizing and performing your duties in a way that you believe best promotes students' development and study results. Our digital tools are Prorenata, Vklass, and Google Classroom/Drive. For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
