We are looking for a Technical Information Specialist responsible for developing diagnostic-related service information that helps workshops quickly and accurately troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair vehicles. The information should be clear, standardized, and integrated into the diagnostic tool SWS (Workshop Suite). You will be an important part of the chain between technology development and the workshop's everyday operations, where quality and usability in documentation are crucial.

Your Responsibilities

Create and update diagnostic and service information for workshop environments. 

Develop fault code texts, component information, and functional descriptions. 

Develop step-by-step guides for diagnosis and calibration. 

Produce UI texts and collaborate with development for correct implementation in SWS. 

Coordinate content flow in internal tools and ensure standardization. 

Contribute with technical illustrations and visual explanations as needed. 

Expected Deliverables

Completed fault code texts and diagnostic guides in SWS. 

Standardized component and functional information. 

Clear UI texts tailored for workshop users. 

Traceable, quality-assured content according to internal processes. 

Ongoing improvement of information structure and user-friendliness. 

Your Profile

Relevant education and/or experience in technical communication/technical writing, IT, or a related technical field. 

Good technical understanding and interest in vehicles/automotive technology. 

Experienced in writing structured, audience-adapted content according to standards. 

Meritorious with knowledge of AI support in technical writing. 

Meritorious with UX and/or front-end understanding. 

Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Pedagogical and user-focused – enjoys making complex technology understandable.
