About the role

As a finance assistant, you will play a central and varied role in the finance department's work. You will be responsible for both accounts receivable and accounts payable and assist in the ongoing accounting work. This position is suitable for you who thrive in an organized and structured environment, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working both independently and closely with colleagues. You will be one of seven colleagues within the finance function, ranging from finance assistant to accounting economist and accounting manager, as well as the finance manager to whom you will also report.

In the role of finance assistant, you will be responsible for the daily flow within both accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will handle the entire process for supplier invoices – from arrival registration and review to payment – and ensure that all invoices are coded correctly and that approval flows and permissions in the invoice system are kept up to date.

The work also includes accounts receivable, where you will prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on overdue receivables. You will handle reminders and collection cases with high accuracy and good service sense.

In addition, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and reconciliation of bank accounts, both in SEK and in foreign currency. You will ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly and that reconciliations are carried out continuously and in connection with year-end closing. In connection with period and year-end closing, you will also be responsible for the reconciliation and currency adjustment of both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

You will also be involved in process development and harmonization work within the finance department, where you contribute to improving and streamlining routines and working methods. The work also involves handling shared functional mailboxes and other administrative tasks that contribute to order and structure in daily work.

Location in Gothenburg, at Gamla Almedalsvägen.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a finance assistant within accounts receivable and/or accounts payable who thrives in a role where order, accuracy, and collaboration are central. You have basic accounting knowledge, good Excel skills, and can work fluently in Swedish. You have a genuine interest in systems and experience with one or more business systems such as Visma, Fortnox, Pyramid, Medius, or Rillion.
