Skurup Municipality is a genuine municipal group with four subsidiaries primarily managed from the central finance unit. We are now looking for a driven controller who wants to be a key person in our ongoing development work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We offer a challenging and interesting job that primarily provides qualified support to the Individual and Social Care Administration, which organizationally consists of management, care and support, LSS, and individual and family care. You will be part of the finance unit, which consists of twelve employees and is led by the finance manager. Here, there is a culture of collaboration, engagement, and community where we support and strengthen each other on the path to continuous development.

As a controller, you will work broadly and strategically with the municipality's financial planning and follow-up. Your tasks include, among other things:

• responsibility for leading and supporting the administration's budget, forecast, and analysis work
• responsibility for the administration's year-end closing work and ongoing accounting
• maintaining the administration's goal management and internal control
• preparing, reporting, and presenting matters for management and the social committee
• participating in or leading development projects and investigative assignments within the finance function

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with well-documented knowledge and several years of experience in qualified financial work. You are a communicative person with a relevant university education or other training combined with experience that the employer deems relevant. You have good IT skills and are a proficient user of the Office suite. Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We would also like you to have good knowledge of personnel economics and experience working in a politically governed organization. If you also have experience with the qualified use of Raindance and QlikSense, it is considered an advantage.
