Administrator at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.
The operational area (VO) Tygelsjö/Ringsjön consists of the Tygelsjö prison with 137 places for men and the Ringsjön prison with 82 places for women in security class 3, led by a prison manager along with seven correctional officers.
Both prisons conduct extensive VSP and investigative work, while also providing valuable employment opportunities such as a horticultural business, carpentry with pallet production, mechanical workshop, assembly/packaging, kitchen and cooking, learning center, and other structured activities.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 6 months with good opportunities for extension.
