Located in a beautiful community, five kilometers south of Alingsås, Västra Bodarna preschool is set in a lovely forest and countryside environment. Here, 16 educators currently work with 99 children divided into five departments. At Västra Bodarna preschool, we want the children to feel safe, have a desire to learn, and develop based on their own conditions and needs. We are constantly working to develop our teaching and education towards set goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher, you have a special responsibility to conduct teaching in education and to plan, implement, and analyze the quality of teaching against set goals and governing documents. You are responsible for documenting each child's development and ensuring that the curriculum goals are integrated into a whole in the education. Documentation forms the basis of systematic quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher. You are well-versed in the preschool's governing documents and continuously develop your teaching to achieve high goal fulfillment. Experience in the profession is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you are present, structured, and engaged. You are communicative in speech and writing, receptive to ideas, and find it easy to build relationships with children, guardians, colleagues, and supervisors. You have the ability to find solutions to the dilemmas that arise and that are part of the work. You are flexible and can change your methods and strategies as needed to meet all children in preschool.

You understand the value of everyone in the work team being involved and that you work as a team. You have the ability to see the different needs of children, take into account their individual conditions, and help them grow and develop. You can also capture children's curiosity and desire to learn by creating a learning environment that is accessible, exciting, and challenging.
