JOB DESCRIPTION

Rosendal School is located in a picturesque area, close to public transport in Örgryte-Härlanda. About six years ago, we moved into fantastic newly built premises which provide conditions for a good and pleasant working environment with an exciting outdoor environment and modern furniture. The school has approximately 550 students from preschool class to grade 6. At Rosendal School, we work for openness, dialogue, and transparency, which creates the best conditions for our students and staff.

Our goal is for Rosendal School to be a pleasant and learning environment where students have influence and take responsibility together with adults. Our school is for all students. What is necessary for one student is good for all students.

We are looking for someone who will become part of a team responsible for the operations of an after-school program for grades F-1 or grades 2-3. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, following up, and evaluating the teaching and leading the pedagogical development work in the after-school activities. You will also collaborate in the school activities during school hours together with a class teacher in preschool class and grade 1 or in grades 2 and 3. Together, we want to create a holistic view of the student's development and learning, and you are an important piece of the puzzle!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated and certified teacher in after-school programs. If you have previous teaching experience, we see it as an advantage but also welcome you as a recent graduate.

It is important to us that you have the ability to motivate students and inspire them to learn. You have good pedagogical skills and we expect you to see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students.

The work requires good collaboration skills, interest in school development, and the ability to create good relationships with students and their guardians. We are looking for a creative and innovative employee who focuses on the student's motivation and desire to learn. In your leadership, you have the ability to create motivation, participation, and engagement for students in their learning.
