Description

The Culture and Leisure Administration includes libraries, art halls, music and culture schools, sports facilities, and leisure activities. The leisure centers Torpagården, Lyckans fritidsgård, and Barnens kastanj are all located in Vänersborg. The various activities within the administration collaborate, and there is also extensive cooperation with other administrations and external actors.

Barnens kastanj is currently primarily aimed at children aged 6-12 years on Kastanjevägen, in the Torpa area of Vänersborg. It is a collaboration between the Culture and Leisure Administration and Vänersborgsbostäder to strengthen and secure the area and those who live and work here. We are investing in the future!

Job Responsibilities

You want and dare to be involved in challenging and developing the operations in collaboration with other administrations in the municipality, the association life, and the rest of civil society. The Torpa area is a so-called Citizen Promise, which means significant and important investments where you have the opportunity to influence.

Your tasks include planning and conducting training, organizing and carrying out trips, meetings with children and parents, handling invoices, being responsible for food orders, contacting partners, and managing your own facilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has the ability to create a safe, playful, and empowering environment for children and youth. You have good communication skills and openness to collaboration. We require that you have social pedagogue and/or leisure pedagogue education. Experience working in multicultural environments and experience in networking and outreach activities are meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
