Stretered School is located by the scenic Tulebosjön in Kållered. We are a grades 4-9 school with approximately 430 students. The school collaborates between different stages to create a safe learning environment for all our students. We actively work to ensure that all students feel seen and acknowledged based on their abilities and needs.

Stretered School is organized into working teams with mixed grades and is a school where all students have their own computer (Chromebook). We work with GAFE, and the computer is well established as a pedagogical tool in teaching. The school has a staffed library that is open every day, as well as a school host who is available to our students in grades 6-9 every day.

Stretered School offers after-school activities for grades 4-6.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Stretered School is looking for a substitute teacher for grades 4-5.

As a teacher at Stretered School, you are responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work to increase students' goal fulfillment. The work involves planning, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge and social development, both individually and collaboratively with colleagues. You are an active part of the working team with teachers who are qualified in mathematics, biology, and chemistry or any of the subjects. The working teams at Stretered School are characterized by cooperation and community. The position includes mentorship.

It is important that you have a positive attitude and are an engaged and responsible teacher. You have flexibility regarding all everyday and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work. You have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. To motivate, inspire, and challenge students, your ability to show trust and be clear with structure and leadership in the classroom is needed.

You enjoy working in teams and will be part of one of our working teams, each led by a team leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 in mathematics, Swedish, English, natural science, and social studies.
