Department Description

You will be part of a controller team of four that belongs to the finance function and you are a member of the production management team. The production includes two production sites located in Grängesberg and Hällefors with approximately 400 employees. The production is part of the supply chain responsible for the entire value chain, from supplier to customer. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Controller.

Job Description

You will play a crucial role in continuously improving and optimizing our production processes with a particular focus on securing and increasing the company's profitability. You will be responsible for analyzing production costs and identifying improvement opportunities. With a data-driven approach as a foundation, you will create insights that support decision-making at all levels within the organization.

Examples of tasks:

• Responsible in close collaboration with production for financial planning through forecasting and budgeting
• Follow up and analyze the production's investment portfolio
• Preparation of monthly financial statements with accompanying reporting
• Develop and streamline work processes with a strong focus on data extraction, analysis, and visualization together with the entire controller team and the business
• Follow up, analyze, and provide improvement suggestions related to profitability with a focus on costs and variances for our production facilities
• Actively participate in the daily management of production as well as operational, tactical, and strategic improvement work
• Support managers and the production management team in financial matters

Requirements and Personal Attributes

• Academic degree in finance or industrial economics
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Good system competence and data-driven in your working methods as well as being a frequent user of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Driving license B and ability to travel (travel to headquarters and Hällefors will occur)

Meritorious:

• Knowledge and experience of M3, Cognos, and structured improvement work
