The Communication Department is responsible for coordinating Dalarna University's overall internal and external communication as well as marketing. The focus is on increasing awareness of the university's programs, research, and collaboration, as well as strengthening the brand.

Your workday as a communicator includes, among other things:

• Planning, executing, and following up on digital campaigns in close collaboration with your colleagues.
• Being responsible for planning and executing events that strengthen and make the university's brand visible.
• Contributing to the department's other communication efforts and working together with a team of engaged and competent communicators.

Requirements:

• University degree in communication, marketing, or another area deemed relevant by the employer.
• Documented experience working with digital marketing in a professional context, including creating and managing content and optimizing campaigns for various platforms.
• Experience in planning, leading, and executing events and projects that include budget management and follow-up.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of using tools for analysis and follow-up to measure and evaluate digital efforts, such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or equivalent.
• Experience with SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing), including content and ad optimization for increased visibility and reach.

Meritorious:

• Excellent skills in layout, photo, and video editing, e.g., Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
• Experience working with EpiServer or equivalent CMS systems.

Employment
The position is a permanent employment, 100% working hours, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply. Some evening and weekend work may occur. Dalarna University operates in two locations. The place of employment for this position is Falun, and some work will also take place in Borlänge.

The position may be filled by redundancy within Dalarna University.
