The eye care in Dalarna consists of a county-wide eye clinic in Falun and four outpatient clinics in Borlänge, Ludvika, Mora, and Avesta. The clinic has an extensive outpatient operation with approximately 61,000 patient visits per year. The eye clinic's surgical operations are carried out in Falun and include, among other things, 4000 cataract surgeries, of which 95% are performed on an outpatient basis, as well as 9000 intravitreal injections. At the clinic's administrative unit, there are a total of 23 employees, 2 receptionists, and 15 medical secretaries working in Falun. The unit consists of a friendly and diverse group who enjoy working together. We have a close collaboration across the clinic, with various professional categories such as nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, opticians, orthoptists, ocularists, medical secretaries, receptionists, and more.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a full-time receptionist for our operations at Falu Hospital. As a receptionist with us, you are a key person in the operation and have an overall responsibility to ensure that the reception work runs smoothly and efficiently. You will meet both visitors and colleagues in an environment where good interaction and efficient work are in focus. In this role, you will have a dynamic and responsible job where you make a difference for both patients and colleagues. The work is stimulating and varied, with tasks such as registering patient arrivals, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, performing some booking work, supporting the clinic with some administrative tasks, and maintaining order in our public areas. Training in the various parts is a given.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse or a trained medical secretary/healthcare administrator. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The right person for the position has a positive attitude towards their work and colleagues. You have a genuine interest in meeting and helping people while being flexible and structured in your work with a good ability to prioritize between different tasks. Collaborating and communicating constructively is a given for you and us, as it is everyone's shared responsibility to contribute to a good work environment. Previous experience working in the TakeCare journal system and in reception within healthcare is advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
