Department Description

You will be part of a controller team of four people within the finance function and a member of the production management team. The production includes two production sites located in Grängesberg and Hällefors with approximately 400 employees. Production is part of the supply chain responsible for the entire value chain, from supplier to customer. You report directly to the Controller Manager Supply Chain.

Job Description

You will play a crucial role in continuously improving and optimizing our production processes with a special focus on securing and increasing the company's profitability. You will be responsible for analyzing production costs and identifying improvement opportunities. With a data-driven approach as the foundation, you will create insights that support decision-making at all levels within the organization.

Examples of tasks:

• Responsible in close collaboration with production for financial planning through forecasting and budgeting
• Follow up and analyze the production investment portfolio
• Preparation of monthly financial statements with related reporting
• Develop and streamline work processes with a strong focus on data extraction, analysis, and visualization together with the entire controller team and the business
• Monitor, analyze, and provide improvement suggestions related to profitability with a focus on costs and variances for our production facilities
• Actively participate in the daily management of production as well as operational, tactical, and strategic improvement work
• Support managers and the production management team in financial matters

Profile and Personal Qualities

• Academic degree in economics or industrial economics
• At least five years of relevant experience
• Good system skills and a data-driven approach as well as a proficient user of business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Driver's license and ability to travel (travel to the head office and Hällefors will occur)

Meritorious:

• Knowledge and experience of M3, Cognos, and structured improvement work
