In the Church of Sweden in Falun, there are eleven cemeteries that all require maintenance to be the beautiful place that visitors come to find peace, calm, and time for reflection.

For the summer season of 2025, we are now looking for cemetery workers for seasonal employment.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work outdoors in our beautiful cemeteries during the summer. Job responsibilities include weeding, lawn mowing, planting, and hedge trimming. The job can be physically demanding with hand digging and heavy lifting involved. It is suitable for those who enjoy working outdoors, doing physical work, and seeing the results of their labor immediately. The work involves acting independently based on instructions and supervision. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications

• You enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• You have a strong sense of service and find it easy to collaborate.
• You are responsible, proactive, and can work both independently and in a team.
• You show respect and understanding in interactions with visitors and colleagues, according to the Church of Sweden's values.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Meritorious

• Experience in gardening or landscaping work.
• Education in green space maintenance or similar.

Employment Conditions

The employment is full-time during the period from April 28, 2025, to October 15, 2025.
