Family Home and Family Law Unit

The Family Law Unit in Ale is recruiting a family law secretary. The unit consists of three workgroups: family law, family home secretaries, and child secretaries. The unit is led by a unit manager, and for work management and methodological support, there are two senior social secretaries. There is also a social administrator attached to the unit who assists with a range of administrative tasks. In family law, we are a total of five family law secretaries and one senior social secretary.

Family Law

The Family Law Unit is looking for someone who has good collaboration skills and relates to others in a responsive manner. In addition to exciting and varied tasks, the work involves a pleasant work environment characterized by well-established routines, good cooperation among colleagues, and strong team spirit.

In the workgroup, there is strong commitment, high competence, and many years of experience in family law with a focus on development work. To promote legal certainty and quality, co-handling is used where family law secretaries work in pairs.

Job Responsibilities

As a family law secretary, you will be responsible for conducting investigations and inquiries at the request of the district court regarding custody, residence, and visitation. You will also handle paternity and parenthood, enforce visitation support following court decisions, manage cases related to international and national adoption, lead collaboration discussions, and be responsible for telephone advice.

You will be offered individually tailored professional development and external supervision. With us, there is the possibility to apply remote work where it is deemed beneficial for both the operation and the citizens. We have flexible working hours. Your workplace will be located in central Nödinge, close to commuter trains and the E45.

Qualifications

We are looking for a colleague who has a degree in social work and a good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing, to collaborate with others, and to work independently. The work is characterized by tight deadlines and requires one to be stress-resistant and structured. A driver's license (B) is also a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience working with family law or experience in public authority within child and youth services. You remain calm and composed in various situations and have the ability to focus on the right things. It is important that you are clear while being humble and unpretentious. You are confident and have self-awareness. The ability to see and seize opportunities in crisis and conflict is a strength.
