Innovitaskolan consists of 27 preschools and primary schools created for the needs of the future. We combine traditional teaching with modern tools and methods to provide our children and students with the skills and right conditions in a changing world. About us

Innovitaskolan Myrängen is a preschool and primary school in Huddinge with approximately 170 students. We work based on a full-day learning approach. This means that we see school, recess, and after-school activities as equally important components in the students' learning and development. This places high demands on our various competencies and assignments. In practice, a full-day learning approach means that students encounter a planned, documented, and teaching-oriented activity regardless of whether they have lessons, recess, or are in after-school care.

With us, we ensure that students feel seen and cared for. All staff are equally engaged and involved in the education provided to students at the school. We utilize co-planning, school and after-school development, and collegial learning to collectively provide students with an equitable education of high quality.

We have bright and spacious facilities that we utilize during both school and after-school hours. Part of the school's teaching takes place in our beautiful surroundings, which offer rich plant and animal life. Innovitaskolan Myrängen is known for its good atmosphere and the strong collaboration between students, teachers, and guardians. We also have our own kitchen where all meals are prepared.

Your mission

Innovitaskolan Myrängen is looking for a licensed teacher for after-school care, preferably with a focus on music and knowledge in IT. You will work as a teacher for after-school care and be part of a team (grade 3). In the team, there are two teachers and two after-school educators. Your mission is to be part of continuing to develop our after-school activities. You will teach grade 3 in music. Together with your colleagues, you will also continue our work to implement the Innovitamodellen. In after-school care, we strive to have a clear structure in the activities to promote students' sense of security and predictability. We work with mixed-age groups in grades F-2 to give students the chance to get to know each other across grade levels and broaden their social interactions. There is always the opportunity to choose organized activities led by after-school educators. You will jointly be responsible for the after-school care of grade 3 students.

To create security, an important part of our work has been to build relationships in various constellations of students and adults. The general promoting and preventive activities we have at the school, to ensure a high level of safety, include having a structure throughout the school day - from morning to afternoon. There are also clear routines for transitions, for example, between lessons and lunch and between lessons and recess/after-school care. We also have a clear structure during after-school activities. We have designated after-school groups and educator-led activities offered in addition to free play.

Your profile

At our school, we have high ambitions for our children's learning and development, and our work is characterized by a high level of engagement. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a strong personal commitment to learning and who is driven to explore new methods and techniques in teaching through collegial collaboration. A requirement is that you are qualified to teach music, and knowledge in IT is an advantage. A teaching license for after-school care is a requirement. As a teacher, you are attentive and want to guide students towards the future. You are also creative, open, structured, and a clear leader.

Other

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the requirements for qualification under the Education Act). Start date according to agreement.
