Marks Bostads AB is a publicly owned housing company fully owned by the municipality. We own and manage approximately 3,800 apartments and about 200 smaller premises in 14 locations within Marks municipality for rental to individuals and municipal care. Currently, we have 69 employees working within the company. Most work in our residential areas close to our tenants, while others work from our offices located in Kinna and Örby. We have a variety of professional categories represented, but regardless of job role, we all work towards the same vision of creating safe and pleasant housing for everyone, together with our tenants and partners.

Senior Rental Agent and Customer Service Representative to Marks Bostad. The Customer Service team at Marks Bostad currently consists of five dedicated employees who work every day to establish good contact with all our customers in all our locations. The team handles all types of inquiries and incoming service requests with the goal of providing the best possible service to our tenants.

In customer service, we work with renting apartments, customer reception, and daily contact with our customers via phone, email, digital channels, and in-person meetings. We also handle disturbance cases and eviction prevention work, in close collaboration with social services and other community actors when needed.

We are now looking for a new employee who wants to contribute with their experience, structure, and competence in our continued development – and who is also an important part of our customer service team.

About the Position

As a member of the customer service team, you will participate in the rental process – from the first contact to move-in. You will work closely with your colleagues inside and outside the group and assist in daily customer work, which means you will participate in phone and email handling and greet customers in our reception, answering all conceivable questions from incoming and outgoing tenants.

You are a confident and experienced employee who will become an important cog in the daily service work, and together we will create an even better customer experience for our tenants.

Some of Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in and be able to take responsibility for the entire rental process – from advertising to contract signing
  • Engage in customer service work with incoming inquiries, digitally and via calls and personal customer meetings
  • Manage keys for visiting contractors and administer on the month's moving day
  • Work on eviction prevention and handle disturbance cases in collaboration with relevant parties
  • Contribute to the development of digital processes and systems within customer service and rental

Your Personal Qualities

  • You enjoy customer contact – via phone, digitally, and in personal meetings
  • You take responsibility for the issue until it is resolved or handed over to the right person
  • You are structured, flexible, and attentive in your interactions with our tenants
  • You have courage and integrity in your communication and always put the customer's best interests first
  • You work independently but are also a positive, solution-oriented team player who enjoys collaborating
  • You have initiative and a desire to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to development

Your Qualifications

  • High school education – preferably with an administrative or construction/real estate focus
  • Post-secondary education in administration, real estate, or similar is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in rental or customer service work, preferably from the housing or real estate industry
  • Good digital competence and interest in digital solutions
  • Fluent in Swedish and able to communicate in English at a conversational level
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Driving license B is required
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry and rental laws is an advantage
