The Department for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity administers a large number of social insurance benefits, including assistance compensation, sickness and activity compensation, and compensation for work-related injuries. Within the area of legal support, we are responsible for the department's review activities, litigation in court, and the legal support close to case handling. Together, we form a force and engine in the legal quality work of the department. We have grown and now need experienced administrative support, preferably with an understanding of and interest in legal issues. We are looking for someone who wants to help establish and organize our administrative function!
Administration, Service, and Collaboration
As an administrative assistant within the Department for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity, you provide administrative support to the area manager, management team, and the operational area. You contribute to ensuring that the daily work of managers and employees runs smoothly. The role involves close collaboration with the operations, and you take your own initiatives for improvement in your work.
In your work, you handle meeting documentation, personnel administration, permissions, and purchases. You coordinate and follow up on activities related to work environment, operational planning, conferences, etc. The work also includes record-keeping, and you assist with, among other things, invoice approval and statistical follow-up. You collaborate with and act as a contact person for other operations both internally and externally.
As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you have a high security awareness since the agency comes into contact with confidential information.

- has a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
- has a systematic and meticulous working method

- quickly identifies problems and solves them in a relevant manner
- is service-oriented.
It is an advantage if you
- have worked with administration, preferably in a government agency and in the legal field
- have a paralegal education
- have worked with implementing AI tools in or digitizing administrative work
- have good knowledge of the Office suite.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Other
1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Remote work is possible if the work allows. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Gothenburg.
