We are looking for an economist colleague at Enwa Water Technology

As an economist at Enwa, you will be offered an exciting and broad role. We are restructuring the department and need an economist who works in-depth with project follow-up but also has part of the role in the ongoing operations of the finance department.

In addition to being part of the finance team with ongoing finances, you will also work closely with our project managers. You will act as an advisor and be a strategic sounding board with financial input, analyses, calculations, and accounting issues. The role also includes guiding project managers on the financial aspects related to projects.

We have many customers and suppliers and are part of an international ownership structure, which means large contact areas where collaboration and communication are a significant part of everyday life. You will work at our office in Hisings Backa and be an important support in the local operations. The position may involve some travel per year in connection with financial audits on-site with customers. You will have good collaboration and support from others in the finance team. Reporting will be to Enwa's CFO.

Your main tasks include:

• Ongoing accounting, including accounts receivable
• Ongoing financial project reconciliation together with project managers
• Project invoicing
• Part of monthly and annual financial statements
• Responsible for project management in our business system Jeeves, including improvement work and development
• Financial training and support for project managers
• Assist in financial audits with customers
• Collaboration with projects regarding contract review and warranty management

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Several years of experience as an accounting economist
• Previous experience in project accounting and project administration (experience in contracting is an advantage)
• Knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting is an advantage
• Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Independent and driven

You have a strong interest in the overall business and a good ability to communicate financial consequences and alternatives in an understandable way – in both Swedish and English.

You are confident in your communication and can adapt to different recipients in the organization. We would like you to have a strong interest in financial management and in driving the further development of the models, processes, and system support included in the projects.
