Your Workplace

The Finance and Procurement function is the municipality's central support for issues related to accounting, budgeting and follow-up, purchasing and procurement, as well as financial management. The function consists of just over 20 employees. The position is located at the central finance and procurement function with the workplace in the municipal building.

Your Mission

We are now looking for a driven economist for the primary school operations, which is part of the education, culture, and leisure sector. As an economist with us, you will have a varied and developing job where you are responsible for financial follow-up, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting. You will work closely with the operations and serve as a support to managers and employees in various financial matters. The role involves presenting financial information in a pedagogical and easily understandable way and contributing with decision-making material that makes a difference. You will also participate in development projects and investigations that strengthen the municipality's financial management and help create cost-effective processes and clear analyses. What is Required for the Position

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics. You have previous experience in similar work within the public sector. You are an experienced user of the Office suite, especially Excel, and other IT systems in your daily work. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

For employment, a certificate from the police's criminal record must be presented, and a background check will be conducted.
