Norconsult Fältgeoteknik is now looking for a Project Manager who wants to drive geotechnical projects forward in a role where you combine structure, accountability, and good communication to create order, quality, and progress in the assignments.

About the position

This is a consulting assignment with very good opportunities for permanent employment. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and it is explicitly stated that Norconsult Fältgeoteknik AB intends and aims to offer you employment with them in the long term. About the company

Norconsult Fältgeoteknik is a wholly owned subsidiary of Norconsult AB. They perform geotechnical and environmental investigations within all types of projects, from large complicated infrastructure facilities to individual small construction projects, from preliminary planning to pile length determination. They also carry out radon measurements and stability investigations. Their customer base is broad, from private actors to large public clients such as the Swedish Transport Administration. The company currently has established operations in Malmö, Gothenburg, and Luleå, giving them a strong geographical breadth. Norconsult Fältgeoteknik offers a comprehensive solution for geotechnical investigations and delivers a complete solution to its customers, including field reports on completed work. They also perform radon measurements and stability investigations and offer marine drilling with a raft, core drilling, DTH drilling, underwater drones, and environmental technical investigations. All investigation methods are performed according to Eurocode.

Job responsibilities

As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities are to lead and drive assignments from start to finish with full responsibility for delivery. You plan, coordinate, and follow up on all parts of the project to ensure that the work is carried out according to set goals, timelines, and quality requirements. You are the main contact for the client and are responsible for building good relationships while coordinating internal and external resources and distributing tasks. The role involves identifying risks, managing deviations, and reporting status to relevant stakeholders.

Furthermore, you work to structure the project's phases, monitor budgets and financial frameworks, and ensure that documentation and processes follow the company's guidelines. You support the team by creating clear goals and conditions, and you actively contribute to quality assurance and workplace safety efforts. The work requires close communication both internally and externally with field personnel, clients, and authorities to ensure an effective workflow. The role also includes continuously identifying improvement opportunities in workflows and processes to increase efficiency and ensure a smooth implementation process.

Your work covers all of Sweden and may sometimes involve travel to visit sites for a better overview. However, most of your tasks will be performed from the office in Gothenburg.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience in project management or advanced coordination, preferably from the private sector and similar industry

• Understanding of financial responsibility in projects, including monitoring and cost control

• Very good knowledge of the Office package, specifically Excel

• Fluent in Swedish and English
