Job Responsibilities

At Adult Psychiatric Clinic 2, you will be offered a stimulating and varied job that includes tasks such as: medication follow-ups, telephone advice, conversations, emergency reception, medication distribution, and administration of 1177. We work in the Cosmic journal system. You will collaborate with colleagues, other professions, participate in treatment conferences, and cooperate with external organizations.

You will be part of a nursing group with high competence, where everyone, together with other professional categories, strives to see the person from a holistic perspective.

About the Workplace

Adult Psychiatric Clinic 2 is part of the specialist psychiatry in Region Västmanland. The clinic employs doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and administrative staff. The clinic is divided into three teams. The current position is within teams 1 and 2, focusing on general psychiatry and addressing patients with mental health issues requiring specialist care for residents of Västerås, Surahammar, and Hallstahammar municipalities. In addition to the aforementioned teams, there is also an elderly team within the clinic focusing on geriatric psychiatry.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry and/or have experience working in psychiatric care.

Since the role requires you to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. Other language skills are meritorious.

We place great importance on personal suitability. Therefore, we see that you are secure and stable in your professional role and have the ability to plan and organize your work in a structured way. You have a respectful and good approach towards both patients and colleagues.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time. Working hours are daytime on weekdays, and we apply flexible hours. Start date by agreement.
