Main Responsibilities
As a Production Planner, you will work in our Change process aimed at approving, preparing, planning, and leading the deployment of software and hardware to minimize disruptions in the IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and following up on change requests and planned outages in the IT operational environment. The task involves close collaboration with our executing organizations as well as with clients. Collaboration is key to a functioning process. You will be part of a team that handles all cases within our Change and Release process.
About the Organization
FMTIS Operations Unit provides central operation of IT systems within the Swedish Armed Forces, according to a process-oriented approach (ITIL). The Production Department is part of the Operations Unit and is responsible for production planning and following up on the IT/Tele support delivered both centrally and locally within the Armed Forces. The Production Department is also responsible for developing, describing, and following up on our IT and Tele processes, planning for larger changes, and coordinating the implementation of changes in our IT systems.

Qualifications
- 3-year upper secondary education with a focus on IT or equivalent technical knowledge acquired. We will consider profiles with a technical/IT background
- Experience in IT-related tasks, preferably within a larger operations organization
- Good experience in administrative work and the ability to organize and structure your work
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driving license B
Meritorious
- Experience with process-oriented working methods
- Experience in Change/Release processes
- Experience in project work
- Education/certification in ITIL

Other
The position is a permanent employment as a civilian employee and begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who are not employed within the Swedish Armed Forces. The place of employment is Arboga with occasional travel, but work within the country may occur.
