Network Technician Wanted in Arboga

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a network technician in Arboga. In this role, you will work on several different projects involving secure communication systems and radio systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT, has a genuine interest in technology, and possesses knowledge of network technology.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is one of the largest engineering consulting companies in the Nordics, combining technical expertise with industry knowledge to support Sweden's total defense in various ways. As a network technician, you will work on multiple projects involving secure communication systems and radio systems. We are looking for someone who has a knack for building relationships with clients, is proactive in their work approach, and is driven by solving problems. You will work in smaller teams with an open and pleasant atmosphere. At the beginning of your assignment, you will receive guidance from more senior colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Work with network architecture
• Manage layers of networks, routers, and firewalls
• Work with systems involving secure communication and radio systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in network technology or another relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish as daily communication primarily occurs in Swedish
• Holds a B driver's license as travel is required in the position
• Is a Swedish citizen, due to the position being classified for security purposes

It is advantageous if you have

• Previous work experience as a network technician
• Previous experience in the defense industry
• Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers, virtualization, and VPN
• Knowledge of Linux
• An interest in working with hardware
