Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include your own district nurse clinic, work within child health care (BVC), and telephone counseling. You will work both independently and as part of a team with several of the health center's professionals. About the Workplace

The 11 region-operated health centers in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future's primary care needs.

Närvården Skinnskatteberg is a small and well-functioning unit with over 3545 registered patients, a mix of the town's elderly population, newly moved families, and rural residents. They want to seek care locally for all illnesses and injuries, and they appreciate and cherish their health center. The unit has a stable staff group with excellent collaboration. Here we have diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics as well as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, midwives, social workers, and a rehabilitation coordinator. Skinnskatteberg municipality manages home healthcare.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse or a basic trained nurse with extensive experience as a nurse and further education in health and medical care for children and adolescents. Experience in child health care is an advantage for the position, as is previous work in primary care. You must master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, and you have experience with the Cosmic journal system.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, flexibility, and collaboration skills. We are looking for someone interested in development work at the health center and collaborating with various professional categories.

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
