The Role - Mechanical Design Engineer

The work involves mechanical design from concept to customer delivery, including documentation, drawing preparation, risk assessment according to the Machinery Directive, and CE marking. You will collaborate closely with project managers, other designers, purchasing, and production.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer with us, you will

• Work with the entire chain of the design process – from concept development to finished machines

• Be part of an experienced project team consisting of designers, project managers, automation engineers, and technicians

• Have interfaces both internally and externally with suppliers and customers – here your social skills and independence are valuable

• Contribute in an industry where precision and structure are crucial for an approved final product

• Ensure that designs meet customer requirements, internal procedures, and standards

• Contribute to improvement work within design and process development

• Represent the company in customer meetings and during delivery to customers, both within Sweden and internationally

We believe that you are an ambitious and curious person who

• Has at least a high school diploma or equivalent technical education

• Has 3–8 years of experience in precision mechanical design, including calculations, material selection, and problem-solving

• Has experience in risk assessment and the Machinery Directive (CE)

• Has a strong interest in technology and is an innovator with entrepreneurial drive who enjoys solving problems and initiating new ideas and concepts

• Is proficient in CAD, PDM, and ERP systems and understands the connection between them

• Is quality-conscious, structured, and meticulous – you appreciate order and follow established routines and processes

• Thrives in teams where collaboration, accountability, and engagement lead to shared successes

• Communicates clearly in both Swedish and English

• Works effortlessly in Office and has good computer skills

Knowledge of pneumatics and servotechnology is a plus
